Made Tech awarded £10m new contract with the Home Office

Made Tech, a leading provider of digital, data and technology services to the UK public sector, has been awarded a new contract with the Home Office, worth c.£10 million to the Group over a 24-month period with a six-month extension option worth a further c.£2 million.

The Home Office is transforming its services by introducing several new digital systems. Made Tech will work alongside the Home Office team, providing a number of digital, data and technology services.

Made Tech won its first one-year contract with the Home Office in May 2021, worth c.£4 million and secured an additional c.£2 million for the fulfilment of a six-month extension option. The contract award announced today represents a renewal and expansion of the initial contract.

Manchester City Council Selects Highways Asset Management System from Yotta to Inform Current and Future Programmes of Work

Following an open procedure tender process, Manchester City Council has awarded Yotta, the leading global connected asset management and services provider, a contract worth more than £500,000, to provide it with a highways asset management system.

Leading Mattress Specialist Chooses ArrowXL

ArrowXL, the leading 2-person delivery company, has secured a significant commercial client during a busy and unprecedented time in the market. Specialising in the collection and delivery of large goods from some of the UK’s biggest manufacturers, ArrowXL is now delivering for mattress and sleep accessory specialist OTTY Sleep.

The contract, signed during lockdown, has seen ArrowXL provide storage in their Wigan head office as well as delivering award winning-mattresses, pillows and bed frames for OTTY. OTTY Sleep now has access to the nationwide 2-person delivery network to distribute their products within a 48-hour delivery timeframe.

Michal Szlas from OTTY Sleep said: “We were in conversation with Arrow XL for around two years prior to signing the contract, which was agreed upon after our existing couriers unfortunately had to pause their operation during the lockdown. Although current circumstances have proven difficult and unprecedented for many, Arrow XL have provided a great service and we have had very minimal issues.

“Their systems are much more sophisticated and allow us to track our inventory and stock movements more accurately. The delivery and customer service have also been fantastic, allowing us to effectively deal with the surge in volume during Covid-19. As a whole, Arrow XL offer a full-service supply chain solution, including warehousing our products and looking after the entire delivery procedure for our award-winning mattresses, pillows and bed frames, which of course, we are very pleased with.”

Digital agency The SEO Works has been chosen to manage the organic search strategy for leading CBD brand fourfivecbd, co-founded by International rugby union players George Kruis and Dominic Day.

The Sheffield based agency will be responsible for delivering organic growth and a SEO strategy that helps cement fourfivecbd’s mission to make their CBD oils, capsules, drinks and topicals the market leading premium brand for professional athletes and those with an active lifestyle.

As well as the CBD website, The SEO Works have also been appointed to launch and promote their new fourfivenutrition website, specialising in the multivitamin market.

Incentive FM Lands another Retail Contract

Leading facilities management firm Incentive FM have been appointed to manage the facilities at The Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City. The contract marks a series of wins in the retail sector for Incentive FM during 2020. Working across an area of 230,000 square feet, the 18-person Incentive FM team will deliver cleaning, security, high level cleaning, and washroom services.

The Howard centre, named after the founder of Welwyn Garden City Sir Ebenezer Howard, currently ranks 113th nationally out of 4,500 trading locations and provides retail space for 58 units all under one roof.

Carley Beck, Centre Manager, said: “It’s great to have a company as experienced as Incentive FM overseeing the facilities management here. We welcome 8 million visitors each year and we knew that to strengthen our customer experience, we had to align the facilities management. Significant Win for Incentive QAS

Leading contract cleaning specialists Incentive QAS, the cleaning arm of the Incentive FM Group, have secured a significant contract amidst unprecedented pressures within the sector. After 12 months of a delayed and competitive tender, Incentive QAS are now the chosen partner for 65 mixed-use properties across London and the South East of England for a leading property management company.

Our new client were forced to pause the procurement phase due to the pandemic but have now appointed Incentive QAS to oversee cleaning services within the 65-strong buildings portfolio that includes commercial property, business park, retail outlets and mixed-use commercial spaces. Incentive QAS will be delivering daily cleaning and housekeeping, washroom hygiene, pest control, window and periodic cleaning throughout the portfolio.

KEYSOURCE WINS DATA CENTRE UPGRADE PROJECT FOR LEEDS CITY COUNCIL

Leeds City Council has awarded Keysource, the data centre and critical environment specialists, a major cooling upgrade project for its facility in Leeds, following a competitive tender.

Under the terms of the deal, Keysource will be responsible for the full mechanical and electrical installation of a replacement data centre cooling system to increase efficiency, improve airflow, and reduce operational costs. The new system will monitor the space and the cold aisle temperature and humidity to optimise the delivery of required cold aisle conditions to maximise efficiency.

The space will be cooled by 5 new Airedale SmartCool Inverter precision cooling units operating on supply air control. It will also benefit from a fresh air feed that will operate as the primary stage of cooling, when ambient conditions allow, to further improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact. By monitoring the outside ambient air temperature and humidity the ACIS system will aim to utilise the fresh air free cooling at every opportunity. The existing AHU controls will also be upgraded and incorporated in the new control’s platform.

Digital Commerce Specialist Lolly delivers end-to-end advanced EPoS for Southampton FC

Southampton FC’s home ground since 2001 has been St Mary’s Stadium. As well as being the home of The Saints, the stadium has been used for events as diverse as film premieres, music concerts and school proms. With a capacity of 32,384 on busy match days and high- profile events, the catering system needs to stand up to fast and extensive demand.

Following a successful bid, Gather & Gather (part of CH&CO, the specialist catering and hospitality company), won the catering contract for Southampton FC. Having worked closely with Lolly the digital commerce specialist on a number of projects, Gather & Gather introduced Lolly as its preferred partner to the Southampton FC procurement team. Lolly was presented to the club as a single solution supplier. This removed the need to bring in lots of different technology players, which would potentially complicate processes.

The new solution for the stadium includes integrated hardware for 176 tills and 25 handheld Point of Sale devices (for the private boxes), secure and seamless cashless payments, linked kitchen video display systems, and software supporting comprehensive recipe and allergen display requirements. The complete digital solution is all linked to one back-office support system and is built to improve sales, communication and efficiency across the site.

Digital agency Hitsearch has added another luxury jewellery client to its growing portfolio, not long since welcoming its previous fine jewellery win, making it a successful month of new business for the group.

The agency welcomes it’s fourth fine jewellery brand, following a successful pitch back in July. Named after its founder Nada Ghazal, the Beirut-based brand showcases a timeless collection of handcrafted fine jewellery, with an edge. Adorning her jewellery designs with precious and semi-precious gems, Nada refers to her unique collections as ‘jewels with a soul’.

Working to an initial four-month contract, Hitsearch will take a multi-channel approach with their new client, conducting campaigns that span across paid media, SEO and digital PR.
