Housebuilder achieves highest ever customer satisfaction score

Housebuilder Bellway has achieved five-star builder status for the fourth year running.

The developer, whose Wales division is based in Cardiff and builds in Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Cardiff, Newport, and Monmouthshire, has retained the accolade in the latest Home Builders Federation (HBF) Survey.

Published in March each year, the HBF survey measures performance in a range of areas, including build quality and customer service.

For a housebuilder to achieve a five-star rating, more than 90 per cent of its customers must say they would recommend them to a friend.

This year, Bellway was one of just 10 large housebuilders to top this mark, achieving its highest ever score of 92.4 per cent.

The developer, which builds more than 10,000 homes each year, surveyed more than 5,300 of its customers in 2019.

Divisional Managing Director for Bellway Wales, Andy Backhouse, said:

“No one’s opinion matters more to us than that of our customers, so our five-star builder status is something we take enormous pride in. We are committed to delivering the best home possible to each and every one of our buyers so to receive such a positive response from them in the survey is extremely satisfying.

“The feedback shows that customers would recommend us to their friend because of the excellent customer service we provide, as well as the high build quality and high energy efficiency of our homes, all of which are designed with modern living in mind.

“Achieving five-star status is testament to the hard work and dedication of our people throughout the company. All of us at Bellway are proud to be part of a top housebuilder and take pride in our job to deliver quality houses to our customers.

“However, retaining our five-star status – as difficult as that may be – is not the limit of our ambition. We are continually striving to improve, so to record our highest ever score for customer satisfaction since the survey is especially pleasing.”

One customer who bought a house with Bellway Wales, said:

“I would absolutely recommend buying with Bellway. I really didn’t expect that level of service and everything has gone so well.

“It was truly the perfect experience, and the after-sales service is exceptional.”

Bellway Wales is building houses across the region, including developments in Charfield, Swansea, Hardwicke, Lydney, Culverhouse Cross, Chepstow, Newent, Brockworth, Llanwern and Undy.

All homes now sold at premier Nottingham development

Homebuyers have snapped up all properties at a new premium residential development in Nottinghamshire.

Situated in the desirable town of Beeston, Mulberry Close is a high-end scheme, developed by North Sands Developments and completed last year, comprising seven five-bedroom detached homes ranging from 1,850 – 2,200 sq. ft.

The development offers a tranquil location on a secluded cul-de-sac with convenient transport links to Nottingham city centre and major road routes, the three-storey properties each offer a modern twist on classic Victorian architecture.

As well as high-spec fixtures and fittings including Neff appliances, Duravit bathrooms, Porcelanosa tiles and oak internal doors, the properties also have sliding powder-coated bi-fold doors across the width of the rear of the property, and underfloor heating.

Four of the homes were sold prior to the site’s completion and an open day was held to showcase the remaining properties, attracting a flurry of interest and offers. The sale of the final property, 4 Mulberry Close, was agreed in 2019 and has now completed.

The largest house in the development, 1 Mulberry Close, attracted a high-level of interest – it occupies a prominent position on the street and boasts a large ground floor kitchen diner, open-plan living space and a detached garage, as well as front, side and rear gardens.

James Hartley, director at North Sands Developments, said:

“At North Sands Developments we strive to deliver luxury homes and prime locations. Mulberry Close has been designed with young professionals, families and downsizers in mind, the need for plenty of open living space and a stylish, premium finish.

“We are pleased to have now sold all seven of these luxury homes and I believe this success is testament to the development’s fantastic kerb appeal, the quality finish to each property and of course the excellent location in one of the most sought-after neighbourhoods in Nottingham.

“From the very beginning this development attracted a great deal of interest and we’re delighted to welcome the happy buyers into their new homes.”

Award-winning North Sands Developments, which has delivered high-spec schemes in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Salcombe in Devon, worked with local contractors JRD Construction, Greenwood Architects and Grace Machin planners to complete Mulberry Close.

Trio launches ‘Project Rescue’ to help clients avoid wasting money on property projects

Trio Maintenance Ltd., a property maintenance company working with agents, housing associations, private landlords and hotels, has launched ‘Project Rescue’ a consultation service designed to help clients avoid wasting money on property projects.

Sandro Heitor, co-founder of Trio, is one of the masterminds behind the new initiative, Project Rescue, which allows clients to consult experts and overlook their projects in order to check if they are on track with their current builder. Trio’s expert team will then guide the client and provide advice on whether they should be releasing more funds and if they have been priced correctly on the works involved.

The inspiration for Project Rescue comes after it was discovered that new clients looking to Trio for help had been left with 50% of their budgets wasted on projects that had only been 30% completed. This was often the result of poor money management, inaccurate valuations and unacceptable project management. Trio aims to prevent their clients from becoming victims of bad industry practices, instead helping them get the best value for their money.

Project Rescue helps clients to solve their construction and property woes by providing timely and effective solutions that gets the job done, and many clients are already benefitting from Project Rescue.

In November 2019, Trio closed a joint venture development with a client going through a divorce and looking to develop her 5-bedroom house into 7 apartments in Streatham. Still having a mortgage to pay, and no lender, she faced experiencing huge financial loss to her property. After looking around for the right developer and builders for her situation, she was introduced to Trio and Project Rescue who helped her structure the deal to the best advantage.

The scheme went on to deliver results beyond the client’s expectations, helping her to keep all 7 of the apartments at the end of the build, completed in less than 6 months, as well as £300,000 liquid on day one.

Sandro Heitor, co-founder of Trio says

“We believe our approach and methods in business are way ahead of how most business owners we come across behave and approach business ventures, this is what makes Trio unique and different in the London property market. Project Rescue is just another way we are helping people to achieve better outcomes for their property construction projects.”

Project Rescue appears to be the answer to complex issues others cannot solve. Trio provides the client with creative ways to work around hurdles and constraints whilst making sure they are getting the best deal. The services they offer are unparalleled and extremely unique in the world of property and industry.
