RGB Building Supplies is delighted to launch The Big RGB Christmas Appeal in aid of Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust and Devon Air Ambulance Trust and is inviting customers and the community to donate good quality preloved items to the drop-off points in its branches. The items will go on to be sold in the charities’ shops and help continue to save hundreds of lives across the region.

The Big RGB Christmas Appeal was officially launched on Monday 25th November when RGB mascot Archie Bee donated the first bag of items. Donations of clothing, shoes, books, DVDs and Blu Rays, toys, accessories, jewellery and bric-a-brac can be left at RGB’s drop-off point until Friday 13th December.

Stephanie Bray, Corporate Fundraising Officer at Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust, commented:

“We’re thrilled to have the support of RGB Building Supplies this year, and their Christmas appeal is a unique way to make a big impact while having a good clear out. The Cornwall Air Ambulance shops are a vital source of income for the charity, raising over £730,000 last year, and this is only possible because of the donations of high quality items the shops receive. Good Luck to RGB and their fabulous Christmas appeal.”

Tracy Owen, Fundraising Manager at Devon Air Ambulance Trust, added:

“We would like to thank RGB Building Supplies and their fantastic staff for their continued support of Devon’s Air Ambulances. It really does mean a lot to us and our patients. Thanks to them we can be there for families like Verity’s, whose two-year old son Joseph needed us when he became unwell earlier this year. Verity told us ‘Christmas this year could have been so different for our family if the Air Ambulance hadn’t been able to bring vital help to our home in time.'”

Kevin Fenlon, CEO of RGB, said:

“We’re delighted to launch The Big RGB Christmas Appeal and help Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust’s shops to raise lifesaving funds. It’s extremely simple to donate, just donate good quality items that are no longer needed to our drop-off points next to the Christmas trees in our branches, and in advance, we’d like to thank our generous customers and local community for their donations.”
