NEW DATA: Tech CEOS earnings during the tech antitrust hearing
The Tech Antitrust Hearing took place on 29th July 2020 and lasted 5 hours 30 minutes. The four dominant figures in the tech industry were faced with tough questions and documents that raised concerns about their competitive tactics.
Latona’s have analysed the CEOs pay as well as the companies earnings in order to find out how much the 4 CEOs and their companies would have earned during the 5 and a half hour long hearing. The figures are quite immense.
Looking into their earnings further, Latona’s have found out what the 4 top tech CEOs earn every day, minute and even second. Take a look at the findings below:
It’s no surprise that Jeff Bezos is the biggest earner with a day rate of $180,821,918, which works out as $125,570 every minute and $2093 every second! It would take Jeff Bezos 23 seconds to earn the US average salary of $49,000, so within the first 30 seconds of the hearing, Bezos had already earned more than the average American.
Similarly, when it came to which company earned the most, yet again, Amazon came top with a second rate of $8,895, and a minute rate of $533,718.
