Software licensing consultancy marks five years in business by saving its clients over £700m

Award-winning, Warrington-based software licensing consultancy firm, Synyega marked its fifth year in business this month.

Headed up by Tony Crawley, an experienced IT consultant working on high profile software deals, the business has now grown to a five-strong team of expert consultants working across Synyega’s international client base.

The independent firm now celebrates its fifth year with a significant milestone, by saving its clients more than £700m collectively in software costs.

The team’s global client roster spans both public and private sectors across all industries including FTSE100 companies, public sector organisations and central government departments with the team recently assisting national government in reducing software spend.

Supporting its clients in buying and understanding IT software contracts, the firm makes recommendations on how clients can save money on software purchasing and licensing. The firm is entirely independent, and because of this, Tony and the team have worked on global software deals worth up to £1.2bn, and continue to help organisations save money on their software licences.

Founder, Tony Crawley, said: “It’s hard to believe that we have now been in business for five years. IT organisations are transforming faster than ever before with digital and cloud adoption rapidly accelerating, so it’s been an exciting time for us. Without doubt, the best part has to be assembling a fantastic team that believe in our purpose and love what we do.

“We know that software licensing isn’t always the priority for lots of organisations, however, significant amounts of money can be saved just by having access to the right advice. During this challenging time when all businesses are looking to save as much budget as possible, software is the place to start

“To be able to say we’ve now delivered £700m in savings for our clients over the past five years is a huge milestone for us, and is testament to the team’s hard work and dedication to fulfil our purpose time and time again for clients. Its hugely rewarding to be helping so many organisations and we hope to help many more to reduce their costs especially in these economically turbulent times.”

Synyega is an approved software provider to the UK government and currently sits on the government’s G-Cloud offering, a procurement framework that eases the procurement of technology services by the public sector. The firm has recently been added to its latest iteration, G-Cloud 12.
