Neurons, the world’s leading applied neuroscience company has moved a step closer to becoming the leading platform for predicting human behaviour by acquiring two of its competitors, VisualEyes and Loceye.
The move brings 35,000 new clients with a projected 1,000 more each month and enables Neurons to focus on using AI to accurately predict human emotions and sentiments. It boosts the company’s competitive advantage and dramatically increases the growth and accuracy of its customer prediction platform, revolutionising the way brands do business.
Companies often fail to predict, know, or understand consumer responses. This results in inaccurate and unfocused marketing, and more advertising noise to the customer.
Neurons’ technology has enabled major corporations such as Facebook, TikTok, and Ikea to optimize every part of their customer journey from advertising and retail to innovation and beyond. The core product, Predict, is an AI that forecasts customer responses with 95% accuracy – the highest on the market.
With this acquisition, the company’s focus will be on further developing and expanding on their AI product to predict human emotions and sentiments – foreseeing how people feel at consumer touchpoints.
By integrating VisualEyes AI models and technologies utilized by Loceye, such as webcam eye tracking and face tracking, Neurons’ products will offer an additional level of usability and give brands a strong competitive edge. Accuracy will increase, as will the speed at which new predictive AI models are created.
Thomas Zoega Ramsøy, Neurons CEO and founder, said: “For too long companies have relied on retrospective consumer testing or AI technology which requires expert interpretation. Methods that are too slow and too costly for today’s consumer-driven society. We’ve changed that by harnessing the power of neuroscience and AI to provide companies with software which allows them to test consumer responses before they go to market. With the acquisition of our key competitors, VisualEyes and Loceye, we go a step further – giving brands the tools to accurately predict emotional and sentimental responses, what motivates their customers and what they remember. This acquisition not only takes our business to the next level, it revolutionises the way companies attract and retain customers and changes the brand-consumer relationship forever.”
Mike Storm, Neurons COO and partner, added: “Our mission has always been to use the power of neuroscience and AI and make it accessible and affordable. Over the coming years, marketers will use more and more customer data sources and it will be a challenge to make sense of so much information. That’s where AI comes in. Brands that can predict, understand, and respond to the customer decision-making process before products and campaigns are even launched have the competitive edge. By acquiring VisualEyes and Loceye, we take this to the next level, providing the tools to predict emotions, sentiments, conscious and subconscious behaviours. This boosts our global dominance and dramatically increases the growth and accuracy of our consumer neuroscience database.”
Costa Alexoglou, Co-founder, VisualEyes, commented: “We’re thrilled Neurons Inc will be incorporating our cutting-edge eye-tracking technology into its customer prediction platform and are proud to play a part in creating the world’s largest consumer neuroscience database. Our combined expertise has the power to shake up the way brands do business today, and in the future and we’re excited to see how this natural, trail-blazing partnership develops.”
