Senior staff from leading Swansea-based commercial cleaning company Mrs Buckét dusted off their passports to visit Amsterdam recently, in a bid to brush up on the very latest technology and best practices in the industry.
The largest cleaning community in the world, Interclean Amsterdam is an international business networking platform for the cleaning and hygiene industry, which this year took place at RAI Amsterdam between 14th-17th May. Mrs Buckét Managing Director Rachael Flanagan, accompanied by Yvette Wilkins, Operations Director, rubbed shoulders with the world’s leading cleaning and hygiene manufacturers and professionals at the four-day event.
Industry experts took to the stage to share their knowledge and best practices on a broad variety of cleaning and hygiene topics. The event also featured an Innovation Lab, Robot Arena and Zero Waste Dome.
Rachael said: “Interclean Amsterdam really is the epicentre of all things cleaning and hygiene and it was such a worthwhile trip for us. For a company like ours that is so passionate about innovation and changing the perception of the cleaning industry, it was a great opportunity to connect with like-minded businesses and to meet with new suppliers and partners that we’re keen to work with.
“We were so impressed by the technology we saw and can’t wait to get our hands on some of it, especially as it will be so beneficial to our clients.
“It was also really rewarding to hear so much positivity about our business from internationally respected businesses who already knew of Mrs Buckét and our reputation.”
Mrs Buckét is a high-quality commercial cleaning and facilities management company. Established by Rachael Flanagan in 2005, the business has grown to have 330 employees operating across south Wales and south-west England.
