Lolly makes series of high-profile appointments

With an exciting year of continued growth and innovation planned for 2023, Lolly, the hospitality technology specialist, has made a series of high-profile appointments. Matthew Cox joins as sales director, Angela Durnin as finance director and Paul Markey as business development manager.
Matthew Cox joins the Lolly team as sales director. In his role he will be looking after the hospitality sales team, and continuing to build awareness in other sectors, including contract catering, stadia, events and education. As well as bringing in new customers, he will also work with existing clients to build and evolve the Lolly product roadmap. With more than 20 years’ experience in EPoS and payments, Matthew’s previous roles include time with MCR, Omnico and Fingo.
He comments, “It’s great to be a part of such a dynamic business. Lolly is always evolving its product range and the company never stagnates. They are more like strategic partners for their clients – always looking to the future.”
The new finance director, Angela Durnin, will be supporting the business as it scales, developing financial strategies that support business growth. With a background in consulting and banking, working for organisations such as The Bank of England, Barclays Bank and Deloitte, Angela was keen to transfer these skills to join a growing SME. She comments:
“I was impressed by the energy of the team at Lolly, as well as the exciting product range. It will be great to be part of their growth plans – with a new, digitally-enhanced, hospitality world just around the corner.”
Paul Markey comes on board as business development manager, where he will working across the entire Lolly estate. His focus will be centred around developing new accounts, as well as monitoring customer satisfaction with existing clients. With more than 20 years’ EPoS experience across training, implementation and development, he adds: “I wanted to be at the forefront in the sector and to join a progressive business. Lolly has so far exceeded my expectations.”
