Claritas Solutions receives top rating for its support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals

Claritas Solutions has been awarded four stars in recognition of its support for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals are a plan to end poverty, extreme inequality, and climate change by 2030 and the Wetherby-based IT company has achieved the top rating.

Four stars are awarded to businesses that publicly demonstrate their plans, commitments and actions toward the Goals. While the business has just published its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) & Social Values Report 2023 to help create a strong, sustainable and secure society, it is only a rubber stamp to the values the team has lived for years.

Managing Director, Glenn Scaife, said: “At its heart, entrepreneurship is the solving of problems in a commercially sustainable way. While the headline-grabbing acts of billionaires tend to draw the media in, it is often the efforts of smaller businesses that incrementally improve things on the ground.”

“Long before ‘ESG’ became the bandwagon everyone is jumping on, we have been quietly getting on with the job in hand, making the sustainable choices like installing an energy efficient boiler, lighting control system as well as adding solar panels to the building we have now been in for the last five years because it was the right thing to do.”

“By being part of Support the Goals, we join other industry leaders, innovators and everyday businesses who are using the platform to publicly state their support for the Global Goals and in the hope that more SMEs follow suit.”
