TICKETS are selling frightfully fast for a sensational Halloween spooktacular.
The fangtastic, family friendly Gandeys Spooky Circus returns to Bolesworth Castle in Tattenhall, near Chester and Wrexham, over 12 days from Friday October 20.
And legendary ringmaster Binky Beaumont will be joining the 16-strong internationally acclaimed ensemble for what promises to be their best show yet.
The hair-raising one-hour event will be packed with spine-chilling entertainment, ghoulish tricks, and unbelievable feats of Rolla Bolla balance and aerial ballet bravery.
Binky has enjoyed a colourful career, beginning life in a popular clown troupe before turning to luxury car sales in the 1990s.
He returned to the spotlight after more than a decade, with the world-famous, Cheshire-based Gandeys Circus, and has never looked back.
“We have performances running all over the world, and here in the UK at holiday camps, on TV programmes and award shows so we are much more than a circus company, but there is nothing we like better than getting out there and entertaining people,” said Binky.
“For those who have never seen us before we have an incredible cast including Kakehole and Mr Popol – multiple winners of Britain’s Funniest Clown competition – as well the amazing acrobatic Alegria troupe from Cuba and much more.
“The whole thing is not too terrifying I promise! It’s spooky family fun that will appeal to everyone, there are lots of laughs, lots of comedy and I’m delighted to be appearing as well.”
He added: “I’m so glad to be back at Bolesworth, it’s a lovely venue and we are all looking forward to preceding the amazing bonfire celebrations and setting the tone nicely for the fireworks to come!
“There are hundreds of us in the team, we are holding shows all year round all over the world from LA to Hong Kong and always on the move but there’s no place like home – we look forward to seeing you all soon.”
Bolesworth’s Managing Director Nina Barbour is happy to see Binky front and centre for what will be one of the highlights of an action-packed calendar at the 6,000-acre estate.
As well as the show itself there will be fairground rides, food and drink stalls and those attending are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costume and ghoulish gear.
“We have had a very busy summer and the programme for autumn and winter is equally packed, with tickets to our Halloween and winter events selling fast and the spectacular fireworks event on October 29 already creating a buzz across Cheshire, North Wales and the North West,” she said.
“We know Gandeys Spooky Circus always put on a scintillating show, they are true crowd pleasers – and scarers! – and we can’t wait to have them back.”
