HuHa PR Appointed By Leading Cleaning Experts HG.

HuHa PR has today announced they have been appointed by leading cleaning experts HG. The team is challenged with supporting HG’s collaboration with the housing and homeless charity Shelter [and Shelter Scotland] to ensure those living in unsafe conditions have a place to turn for trusted expert advice on damp and mould. The collaboration aims to raise funds to create accessible digital advice tools that will enable Shelter to reach even more people with their expert advice on damp and mould.

With 11.8 million people suffering from significant damp, mould and condensation in the UK and 51% of private renters living with it in their home, the continued cost of living crisis is predicted to exacerbate the issue even further this winter.

Warmth and ventilation are key to combating the fungus but if fewer households can afford to heat their houses sufficiently these already dismal statistics will only get worse. The collaborative duo believe too many people are living in unsafe conditions that risk their health and want to help those who may be struggling to access guidance.

In a campaign called ‘Together for safer and healthier homes,’ HG will give 5% of sales of its mould spray to Shelter until mid May 2024 and promote their shared expert knowledge on damp and mould with the charity and its communities. This will finance the creation of new digital tools on Shelters website that could help 150,000 people get the advice and guidance on damp and mould they need.

HuHa will work on an activation project, as well as executing a hybrid strategy of media relations and thought leadership activity.
