Discovery Education Appoints Michael Savitz as General Manager of International Business Unit
Discovery Education – the worldwide edtech leader whose state-of-the-art digital resources nurture curiosity and drive deeper engagement – today announced the appointment of Michael Savitz as the new General Manager of its International business unit. Savitz was most recently Senior Vice President of Operations at Discovery Education, having joined the company from DreamBox Learning in October 2023 when it was acquired by Discovery Education.

Prior to joining Discovery Education, Savitz was Senior Vice President of Operations at DreamBox Learning. Prior to DreamBox Learning, he held a number of senior management positions at Blackbaud, the world’s leading cloud software company powering social good, including Chief Operating Officer for International Markets and General Manager for the Education Services unit.
