The Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (APDO) will once again showcase its expertise and wealth of industry knowledge at the Clean & Tidy Home Show on the 19th and 20th of October at ExCeL London.
The show, now in its third year, aims to inspire and connect homemaking enthusiasts. Its purpose is to bring people together, providing them with the tools to create a living space that supports their lifestyle through live demos, insightful panel sessions and the most useful products.
APDO will be exhibiting at the event, answering any questions prospective members have about the association, promoting its accredited training courses and aiding those seeking the services of a professional organiser in their area.
In addition, four APDO members will be speaking across the two-day event on three different stages, with the President of APDO, Siân Pelleschi, participating in three talks. Alongside Natalie Evans, Founder & CEO of Little Barn Door, Siân will discuss how to build a rewarding career in home services, and joined by Timi Phillips of Poised Concierge and Charley Cutler, Shine Squad Ambassador, Siân will address the question ‘when is enough, enough?’ to explore when decluttering, cleaning, and organising feel complete. On the ‘Ask an Expert’ stage, which APDO is a proud sponsor of this year, Siân will host a session providing advice in a 1 on 1 setting on all aspects of cleaning, decluttering, and organising.
Accompanied by two other industry experts, Founder of Strictly Organised Sammy Ryan will be advising attendees from the main stage on how to set the foundation for long-term success, growth, and purpose by taking control of your life admin.
Stephanie Rough, Founder of The Organised Zone, and Heather Tingle, Owner of Untangled by Tingle will both be leading sessions on the ‘Ask an Expert’ stage. Stephanie will share actionable tips and methods to help individuals and families create an efficient and orderly home environment, and Heather’s workshop will provide practical strategies to help navigate the challenges of organisation in a way that suits different cognitive styles and sensory sensitivities.
The association will also be reflecting on its achievements and sharing its vision for the future at the Community Hub on Saturday 19th October, in celebration of its 20th anniversary.
Siân Pelleschi, President of APDO, commented: “We are so excited to be attending the Clean & Tidy Home Show for the third year running. As the industry’s flagship event, the show provides many valuable opportunities to meet other like-minded organisations and individuals. We look forward to imparting our knowledge, learning from others and making new connections.”
