Fast-growing charity crowdfunding platform nears £1 billion fundraising milestone

Fast-growing charity crowdfunding platform, CharityExtra, is forecast to reach an impressive £1 billion in funds raised over the next 12 months following accelerated growth.

The unique, service-based platform, founded in 2019 by Yitzi Bude, allows charities to benefit from the power of crowdfunding, and is backed by a combination of robust technology and passionate fundraising experts.

Through its unique data processing model, the platform is also able to build engaged communities who are willing to give to the worthy causes working in partnership with CharityExtra.

Through using the platform, many charities have raised up to five times their usual totals when compared to traditional fundraising methods, thanks to its advanced ‘gamification’ technology and bespoke strategies prepared for each campaign.

The platform has seen more than £150 million raised in the last year from two million donors, with one campaign achieving 200 per cent of its fundraising goal. Charities often reach seven figures in fundraising in a matter of days when working with CharityExtra, raising funds at four times the speed of rival fundraising platforms, while gaining ownership of all donor data.

Current campaigns include Our Kids First, a charity providing support to families going through divorce, which has currently reached 106 per cent its fundraising target, and KEF Kids, a charity supporting children and young adults with physical and learning disabilities, which has achieved 107 per cent of its goal.

Yitzi Bude said: “Approaching the milestone of £1 billion in funds raised is a huge achievement for the whole team at CharityExtra, and we’re grateful to every donor who has supported the wonderful charities we have worked with over the years.

“Key to our success has been the development of our own custom technology which has introduced a unique gamification element to fundraising that really drives donor engagement and provides charities with full management of their donor data. This, coupled with our carefully selected team of specialists who have real expertise in fundraising, and work one-to-one with each client to guide them through the entire fundraising process, has really set us apart from other fundraising platforms. We’re now looking forward to supporting and raising money for even more charities in the future.”

CharityExtra is the number one online platform for charity campaigns, raising millions in funding and trusted by hundreds of not-for-profits. Founded on the principle that charities should have the maximum opportunity to raise the funds they deserve for the work they do while maintaining ownership of all donor data, CharityExtra creates bespoke campaigns to help maximise donations.
