Tean Hatt joins Punter Southall Aspire to expand Bedford office

Punter Southall Aspire, a financial planning and retirement savings business, has recruited Tean Hatt as Principal of its Bedford office, as it continues to grow.

Tean has 23 years’ experience in financial services and joins after 15 years at Hargreaves Lansdown where he was a Senior Financial Advisor. Prior to this, he worked at Wesleyan Assurance Society having started his career at Pearl Assurance.

As Principal, Tean will be responsible for leading the Bedford office and managing clients, both high net worth individuals and corporates. Aspire bought what was JDP Financial in 2018 and is seeking two more new recruits to expand the team in the town

Punter Southall Aspire continues to build its financial planning business, acquiring established regional financial planning firms including JDP Financial, Focus Oxford LLP, and Coleman Financial Services in Dorset.

Tean reports to Bryan Parkinson, who joined Punter Southall Aspire in December 2020 as Managing Director of financial planning.

Bryan says, “We’re thrilled Tean has joined us. He is going to be key in leading the Bedford office as we continue growing and taking on more clients in 2021. We wish him every success in his new role.”

Tean is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and a Certified Financial Planner.
