An award-winning marketing expert is helping businesses maximise their returns on trade exhibitions, as they venture back to in-person events.
Golddust Events is a brand new service being launched by Staffordshire-based Hannah Montgomery, who wants to share her wealth of experience in the world of trade events and exhibitions.
Hannah said:
“Trade events and exhibitions are all starting up again now and, when managed correctly, are brilliant at delivering return on investment and heightening brand awareness.
“We want to focus on helping businesses maximise their return on investment and get the most out of these opportunities. I have worked on events around the world so I have lots of tried and tested experience. I want to pass that on to other businesses.
“We sit down with them eight to 12 weeks before the event and ask questions about what they want to achieve, we come up with a ‘hook’ for the exhibition and develop plans to maximise interest in the stand. Then we make sure they know exactly how to follow up on leads.”
Lichfield-based Hannah was recently named Future Face of Sales, Marketing and Communications in the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce Future Faces and Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards.
Back in January she was named Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Young Professional of the Year at the Chamber awards.
Her company Golddust Marketing marks its fifth anniversary this month (sept) and the new Golddust Events service will be launched in October.
Hannah has already worked with a number of companies as they return to trade events.
Jo Bonser, managing director of health care services firm HCSUK, said:
“Hannah has shown me a different level of exhibition prep and made me think of all sorts of things I had never contemplated before.”
And Richard Lawson, managing director of Total Fire Safety, based in Burton-on-Trent, said Hannah’s help was invaluable as he prepared for the Fire Safety Exbhibition at the NEC.
“Once briefed it was like a weight had been lifted, to the point I could even go on holiday during the preparation stage knowing it was all in hand,” he said.
“We had a productive show and will now take the learnings to develop for the next exhibition. If you’re wanting to get the most out of your trade event I would definitely recommend engaging with Golddust Events.”
