True Sales clients add £105 million of revenue in 3 years
- New analysis reveals business case for investing in sales training
- Average business growth of 32%pa recorded over 3 years
- Inflation dropping could trigger consumer spending, making sales training even more valuable
UK sales transformation specialist True Sales has revealed just how much businesses can gain when they invest in their sales training. Over the past three years, the firm’s clients have collectively added £105 million of new revenue, achieving average annual growth of 32%.
“An investment in your sales team is an investment in the future of your business. We’ve seen this clearly when analysing our clients’ performance over the past three years and witnessing the impressive growth that they have achieved despite the macroeconomic context of the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis.”

The True Sales team is using its analysis to highlight the importance of forcing change rather than waiting for it to happen. Rising inflation has been particularly painful in the UK. According to a new report by Goldman Sachs on the economic impact of Brexit, the UK has seen consumer prices increase by 31% since 2016, compared to a rise of just 24% in the eurozone. However, with inflation now down significantly from its recent peak of 11.1% in October 2022, True Sales points out that it is the perfect time for businesses to invest in their sales teams.
“With inflation now much lower than we have been used to over the past couple of years, there is a positive outlook for consumer spending. Our analysis shows that selling the right way – that is, helping customers identify their needs honestly – is not just the right thing to do, it’s also a clear path to making more money. That’s what true sales is – not talking at people until they feel cornered into spending money but helping them make good buying decisions that genuinely meet their needs.”

True Sales works with businesses across the UK, delivering training and coaching in person and online through the True Sales Academy. The company is now inviting businesses around the country to join it in a ‘sales revolution’, to change how sales is perceived, how it’s done and how it’s trained.
“Selling well changes lives and transforms companies. People excel in their roles when they are supported to continually improve their skills. It’s why even elite sportspeople have coaches – because you can always learn and improve. Training should be an ongoing commitment at every organisation that employs salespeople. It’s good for individuals, for businesses and for the economy.”
