Around 750 people have already registered their interest in a new housing development in Weston-super-Mare ahead of its launch this month.

Bellway is building 150 homes at Mead Fields, off Wolvershill Road, including 131 properties for private sale and 19 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.

Construction work is well underway on the site, which will feature a range of two-bedroom apartments as well as two, three and four-bedroom houses.

The first properties will be released onto the market later this month and two showhomes will be open for viewings, strictly by appointment only in-line with coronavirus guidelines.

Mead Fields is part of a wider proposed new neighbourhood of 1,150 homes which has been granted planning permission by North Somerset Council.
