Winners applauded at Bridgend Business Forum awards
Bridgend County Borough’s flagship awards programme, ‘The Bridgend Business Forum Awards 2019’ sponsored by Valleys to Coast Housing took place at the Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel, Coychurch recently.
Organised by Bridgend Business Forum and supported by Bridgend County Borough Council, these prestigious awards recognise and reward excellence across all sizes and sectors of business in the county borough.
The winners in each category were:
- Business Student of the Year – Daniel Ralph, Blue Bench Media
- Start-up Business of the Year – Leaf Kitchens & Bedrooms Ltd
- Manufacturing Business of the Year – Rockwool UK Ltd
- Service Business of the Year – Neuro Physio Wales Ltd
- Bridgend Tourism Business of the Year – The Wildlife Trust of South & West Wales
- Entrepreneur of the Year – Lauren Cooper, Virtual Wales
- Creative Industries Award – Wales Interactive Ltd
- Professional Service Business of the Year – Howells Solicitors
- Innovative Business of the Year – Spectrum Technologies Ltd
Rockwool UK Ltd scooped the overall title of ‘Bridgend Business of the Year 2019’.

Over £800 was raised at the event in aid of the Mayor’s Charity Appeal 2019/20, for this year’s nominated charity; PRIDE Cymru.
