Mercer Marsh Benefits partners with DNA and epigenetics firm to offer clients personalised health support

Muhdo Health, the big data and analytics company underpinned by epigenetic science has announced a strategic partnership with Mercer Marsh Benefits, the global employee benefits firm.

The partnership will empower Mercer Marsh Benefits clients around the world to prioritise the physical and mental health of its employees. The clients will be able to offer their employees access to personalised insights into their overall health and wellbeing based on DNA and epigenetic profiling as part of existing corporate wellbeing packages.

The exciting new agreement is part of Muhdo’s strategy to partner with companies and benefits providers, to give access to its platform to business employees, tapping into the growing global trend for employers to prioritise the health and wellbeing of their workforces.

Users of the Muhdo platform are able to set personalised health goals, such as a balanced diet, improved fitness, or mental health and allow them to monitor their progress and make improvements with recommendations on actionable changes based on their genetic profile.

Nathan Berkley, CEO of Muhdo, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Mercer Marsh Benefits. The partnership comes at a time when companies are beginning to increasingly invest in health and wellbeing packages and benefits, to ensure that employees feel happy, healthy and productive at work as well as in their day-to-day lives.

In the future we will undoubtedly see more initiatives of this kind being introduced at companies of all sizes, as human resources departments begin to prioritise the long-term mental and physical health of employees to optimise productivity and reduce the number of lost working days.”
