Chester gym, CH1 Fitness, has bounced back from lockdown since the Government allowed gyms to re-open on 25 July – and now, the gym’s latest offer is proving really successful, with many Chester city residents keen to improve their health and get back to where they were before lock-down.
Owner Deborah McVey and Master Coach, Adam Goodwin, explains:
“Nobody becomes a personal trainer for financial gain, it’s very much a labour of love – for me, the motivation was to help people achieve their fitness goals. It’s a really rewarding way of life, so being unable to see our members for some time was challenging. However, we were able to provide our members with a variety of online options. With 4 online classes per day, digital home training plans and virtual PT sessions we kept many of our members going strong despite having to stay at home.
“We therefore made the decision that, when we re-opened, we would waive the joining fee and give every single new member a FREE personal training session and a FREE reformer Pilates taster session on our brand new ‘kickstart’ membership!
“This means we can ensure that everyone is able to use our state of the art Technogym equipment safely, and also allows us to provide full health MOT’s and to agree new goals with clients and design a fully personalised digital 12 week programme that will help clients get back on track and kickstart their routine towards their goals.
“At CH1 Fitness we have a wealth of knowledge and we pride ourselves on our level of service. No new member will be left not knowing what they are doing.
“Clients who are following an exercise programme are far more likely to adhere to and stay motivated for a structured programme of exercise, Creating staying power! which is great for them, but it’s also great for us – there really is no better feeling than seeing a client reach their goals, it is after all what motivated Deborah and I to open CH1 Fitness in Chester.”
“Our unique combination of high-tech equipment, digital training interactivity, studio classes, Reformer Pilates and personal training means that no member is left not knowing what they are doing, or unable to find a fun and motivating way to train.
“With re-opening guidelines much clearer we are also now relaunching our Hot Yoga timetable in the next couple of weeks!
