Howden Employee Benefits & Wellbeing (HEBW) announces several new senior management appointments and promotions in the UK as it continues its ambitious growth plans.
Glenn Thomas, Managing Director (UK) and Global Practice Leader, Employee Benefits at Howden will increase his focus on building the global employee benefits practice while Cheryl Brennan has been promoted to Executive Director, Health & Benefits. Cheryl joins the Howden Employee Benefits & Wellbeing Board and will take on additional responsibilities including overseeing the UK health, protection and online teams and manage strategic relationships with insurance firms and partners.
The first of the major new appointments is Peter Murphy who joins as Executive Director, Head of Operations from Willis Towers Watson (WTW). Peter will oversee all aspects of Operations for Howden Employee Benefits & Wellbeing. He will also join the HEBW Board.
Also joining from WTW is John Heatley who has been appointed as Head of Strategic & Global Accounts. John is highly regarded within the employee benefits sector and brings great expertise in global client management. He will be responsible for large client accounts at a strategic level, as well as managing large multinational clients.
Matthew Gregson also joins Howden as Director of Corporate and Online. Matthew brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding across the employee benefits and online markets. Matthew was previously a member of the Thomsons Online Benefits’ senior management team and played a key role in its integration into Mercer.
Anne Terry joins the growing global practice as Head of Global Benefits Management, from leading German benefits consultancy, Profion. Anne is well-known within the global benefits arena and brings with her considerable experience and connections in global benefits management. She previously established the international benefits practice for Hays in the US.
