Boatman Admin Services sails through a sea of virtual admin success to reach five years trading

Boatman Admin Services, a virtual admin assistant company based in Wiltshire that works with a national pool of clients such as Taste of Bath, Ishbel’s Wardrobe, Sarah D Rees, CBT Therapist, and Platinum Mortgage Solutions is celebrating its 5-year anniversary on 12 October 2020.

The milestone is being marked with an extension of the team as new bookkeeper, Catherine Body, joins. New client enquiries at Boatman Admin Services are currently up by over 50% year-on-year, with the business helping its 60th client since launch in 2015.

Virtual working has proved to a necessity to most businesses throughout lockdown, and with Boatman Admin Services offering a variety of virtual office administration assistance, bookkeeping and social media management, it has seen a demand and growth greater than expectation. Meanwhile, longevity of business relationships means many of Boatman Admin Services clients have stayed with the company since launch.

Emma Boatman, business owner, who has been described by her clients as “The Admin Fairy”, and her husband, John Boatman, have built the business together organically since launch in 2015. Boatman Admin Services has a plethora of awards under its wings and has successfully gained national recognition in the #SmallBiz100 Awards. Having travelled to the House of Lords twice, Emma has also been shortlisted for VA of the Year South West Region for the past three years. She was chosen for the national #ialso100 Awards in 2020 – an accolade that highlights inspiring female business leaders across the UK.
