VOLOCO ends 2020 on high with 80% Y-O-Y growth Team doubles during 12-month South West expansion

VOLOCO Construction Consulting, which provides bespoke flexible and responsive services such as Quantity Surveying, bid management, design management, planning and programming to the construction industry, has rounded off 2020 with 80% year-on-year (YOY) sales growth. The team has doubled during that time and new offices have been opened, to allow for the expansion.

With a range of clients nationally, including ISG, Integral, Hexagon Construction, BECT and Brookes Property, VOLOCO was founded in 2014 to provide services to construction and development companies during peak workloads. Six years on, the business is increasing its focus on supporting small and growing contractors, which often don’t have the manpower or capabilities within their teams.

Positioned between Bristol and Bath, VOLOCO’s new offices will allow the larger team to meet more easily with social distancing in place, as well as being a space in which to welcome clients. With the hiring of Lea Mavroudis Stephens earlier this year, the company continues to grow its reach in the South West and South Wales regions in particular.

In a mixed year for the construction industry, VOLOCO has been able to provide a broad range of contractor support services, with tender risk review being particularly sought after. With changes to contractor legislation in the form of IR35 on the horizon, VOLOCO is gearing up to help with spikes in workload across the board.

Ben Webb, founder and CEO of VOLOCO, commented: “It’s brilliant to end 2020 on such a positive note. The team has worked hard throughout the year to reinforce existing relationships and forge new ones – particularly those locally.

“With our new office base we’re well set up for the immediate months and also what will hopefully be a time beyond Covid. 2021 will see us continuing our growth plans, rolling out a new website and launching an innovative portal subscription service we’ve been planning.”
