Final chance to buy as work nears completion at Bluebell Walk

Construction work is coming to end at Bellway’s Bluebell Walk development in Harrietsham, where there are now fewer than half of the new homes still available to buy.

More than half of the 38 properties for sale at the site have been snapped up, just 12 months after the showhome opened at the development.

Bellway began building on the former Mayfield Nurseries site off Ashford Road in January 2019 and opened a sales office at the development in June of the same year.

When completed, Bluebell Walk will comprise a total of 58 new homes, including 20 affordable properties for rent or shared ownership, and an area of public open space.

Mark Harrop, Sales Director of Bellway Kent, said: “Bluebell Walk has been a popular development with buyers looking for a peaceful village setting which offers excellent transport links to nearby towns and cities.

“The development is less than half a mile from Harrietsham railway station, which has direct services to London Victoria, Ashford and Maidstone, while the M20 and M2 are both within easy reach.

“Carefully designed architectural features on the exterior of the homes, combined with thoughtful landscaping and roads paved with red brick have created an attractive new neighbourhood which complements the semi-rural location.

“Bluebell Walk is perfect for buyers looking to enjoy a relaxed lifestyle in a brand-new house, and I would encourage anyone interested in securing one of the final homes here to book an appointment to see the showhome.

“This is a great opportunity to own a brand-new home in a sought-after development with the Kent Downs right on your doorstep, and with no stamp duty to be paid on all of the remaining properties if purchased before 31 March next year, we are not expecting them to be on the market for long.”

The final homes available at Bluebell Walk include a selection of three and four-bedroom homes, with prices ranging from £344,995 for a three-bedroom semi-detached house and £479,995 for a four-bedroom detached property.

As all currently available homes are priced under £500,000, buyers will pay no stamp duty if they complete their sale before the end of the stamp duty holiday on 31 March 2021.
