Xalient Listed Among 40 Best Employers in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work Awards

Secure network transformation specialist Xalient today announced that it was voted among the top 10 best employers in the ‘medium-sized’ category of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work Awards. The Sunday Times Best Places to Work in the UK Awards for 2023 are powered by WorkL and the results were revealed today. This nationwide workplace survey honours and celebrates Britain’s top employers and acknowledges the best workplaces for women, LGBTQIA+ community, disabled employees, ethnic minorities, younger and older workers, and wellbeing.
The Sunday Times partnered with employee-experience platform WorkL to deliver fresh insights into what makes a Best Place to Work. Using 35 questions from WorkL’s employee engagement survey, the awards most accurately monitored employee engagement and wellbeing in the workplace. Xalient achieved an excellent average overall workplace engagement score of 93% against an industry average across the technology sector of 70%. Additionally, Xalient scored 94% confidence in management against an industry average across the technology sector of 69%, which was also deemed to be excellent.

PizzaExpress, Fat Face, and David Lloyd Leisure were among the top 10 best employers in the ‘very big organisation’ category, while Octopus Energy and Churchill Retirement Living were ranked as some of the best ‘big’ employers. Alongside Xalient, EasyJet Holidays and Better Placed were also celebrated in the medium and small organisation categories, respectively. Bristol based energy supplier OVO was voted Best Place to Work for women, while the Goring hotel in London was named best for employees aged 55+. Arcadis topped the list for ethnic minorities, while Thomas Franks was named the best for LGBTQIA+ employees.
