Cohesity Appoints Olivier Savornin to Lead EMEA Business

Cohesity has today announced the appointment of Olivier Savornin as Cohesity’s Group Vice President of Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Savornin, who brings over three decades of information and communications technology industry experience and leadership, will lead Cohesity’s sales and customer engagement efforts in the EMEA region, with a focus on driving the adoption of Cohesity’s AI-powered modern data security and management solutions.

Savornin’s industry experience in EMEA spans different IT, sales, and business development, focusing on accelerating global customers’ digital transformation. Most recently, Savornin held the role of General Manager Southern & Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Qualtrics, where he drove new sales throughout the region, transformed the sales team to deliver customer-centric strategic pitches, established a structured business cadence, and served as a role model with personal implication to inspire. Before that, Savornin held a range of sales leadership and business operations roles at VMware, Samsung, Cisco, and Nortel Networks.

As a business leader, Savornin is passionate about the EMEA region and the ideal combination of culture and economic power. He believes that due to that strong, diverse cultural and economic background, this region can retain its pioneering role in developing strategic initiatives for critical requirements like data sovereignty. Savornin has lived in different countries for many years across EMEA and speaks English, French, Italian, and Spanish fluently.

Savornin holds many tertiary qualifications, including an Executive MBA in corporate management from HEC in Paris and an Engineering Degree in Telecommunications at ESME Sudria, which allows him to understand the potential of new technologies like AI in data security and management.

“I am excited to be leading Cohesity’s business in the EMEA region.
