New TOUGHBOOK 33MK3 Takes Centre Stage For Panasonic At BAPCO 2024

Panasonic will demonstrate the latest iteration of its popular TOUGHBOOK 33, frequently used as a Mobile Data Terminal across emergency services

The Panasonic TOUGHBOOK team will be helping to solve increasingly challenging communications issues for the emergency services sector with the latest in rugged mobile devices at the BAPCO Annual Event across the next two days.

Held at Coventry’s Building Society Arena, the event enables public safety decision makers to explore thousands of innovative services, solutions and products that will shape the future of emergency services and critical communications.

At the forefront of Panasonic TOUGHBOOK’s line-up at BAPCO is the brand new TOUGHBOOK 33mk3, making its public debut. The 12-inch 33mk3 delivers market-leading ruggedness, battery life, customisation, connectivity and performance that provide the modern mobile worker with a balanced solution, regardless of the task, application or environment.

Running the 12th generation Intel® Core™ (Alder Lake) i5 processor, with Intel vPro® Technology, the 33mk3 can run the most demanding applications. The 33mk3 also benefits from enhanced graphics performance, crucial for emergency services workers using it as a detachable Mobile Data Terminal (MDT), enabling access to important information such as mapping and point-of-interest data, operating guidance, building plans – all of which are dependent on superior computing performance – in and out of emergency services vehicles.

The TOUGHBOOK 33mk3 will be Airwave-certified and approved for use on the Emergency Services Network, offering seamless Wi-Fi, 4G, ESN and TETRA connectivity. This enables remote emergency services workers to effortlessly connect to control rooms and back-office systems, regardless of location.

Will Holmes, Business Manager (Public Sector), Panasonic TOUGHBOOK, said: “The emergency services sector is under constant pressure to increase access to mobile data while making budgets stretch further from their chosen technology providers, all whilst improving response times. We look forward to showcasing the new TOUGHBOOK 33mk3 at BAPCO 2024 as a solution for customers and our long-standing partners to streamline workloads and increase operational efficiency for end-users.”
