A FINANCIAL ADVICE firm – who have increased their business by more than 50 per cent in the last 12 months – have relocated to a brand-new premises in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Minerva Financial Solutions – which was founded in February 2020 by Nicola Conway – have relocated to the recently renovated premises, now called Albion, in Albert Street.

The exciting move comes following the expansion of the company, which saw Jane Johnson welcomed as Practice Manager last year, and Paraplanner Sharon Parkinson has also joined the team.

“We are really pleased with the new premises,” says Nicola. The offices are very modern and completed to a high standard with plenty of parking available for our clients.

“In the last twelve months our team has grown, along with our client base, so we really needed more space.

“The refurbishment which has taken place with the new offices at Albion is outstanding and were ideal for us. There is a lovely feel about the place and we are joined in the building with Albion Communications and are absolutely thrilled to be here.”

The move has also seen an increase in new clients being welcomed to Minerva, who mainly serve Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and the Staffordshire Moorlands, but are now reaching further afield into areas of Cheshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire, Sussex and Carlisle.

An increase in other small businesses seeking support with retirement planning along with pensions has also added to the growth.

“In the last twelve months we have been working with many small businesses who are saving for retirement, and we have also supported divorcees who need help with mortgage capacity reports, capital raising and pension sharing orders,” said Jane.

“We have noticed an increase in these in the last year, which is why we have also started to introduce cash flow modelling.”

Nicola added: “Due to the demand we have been experiencing we are going to soon introduce educational sessions for first time buyers as well as people wanting to learn more about equity release, later life planning and the value of retirement planning.”

Plans are now in place for a special open day to take place on 20 and 21 November, at Minerva’s new space and plans for monthly ladies networking sessions are also in place for the coming months.

“We will soon be inviting friends, other businesses and clients to come and join us in celebrating the next stage of Minerva Financial Solutions,” says Nicola.

“From going back to when I started the business – which was during the Covid pandemic – it is exciting to be moving forward with the next chapter.

“Providing a series of business networking events for women is also something we are introducing and very excited about.”
