Global strategy expert and former Bill Gates adviser joins HiveMind

UK-based business, technology and design consultancy HiveMind has recruited a leading global strategic expert to support its ambitious growth plans. Dan Rasmus, a former Director of Business Insights at Microsoft who worked closely with its CEO Bill Gates, joins as HiveMind’s new Director of Insight and Advisory.

Rasmus is a global leader in the field of strategic story-telling developing scenarios to analyse economic, technological and geo-political trends to help organisations adapt to future challenges. He has authored several non-fiction books including Listening to the Future, which chronicles insights from his time at Microsoft.

Over his career Rasmus has held a number of internationally-focused leadership roles including Chief Marketing Officer at GlobalEnglish, Vice President and Research Director at Forrester Research, and Chief Knowledge Officer of the Giga Information Group. His insights into the future of work have been widely published appearing in the likes of African Business Review, Fast Company, GeekWire, and the Harvard Business Review blog.

Rasmus, who also serves as part-time Affiliate Instructor at the University of Washington, has a long association with HiveMind. He was recruited as its first consultant in 2014 and worked with a diverse range of the company’s clients.

HiveMind recruits new Marketing Director to support ambitious growth strategy

Business, Technology and Design consultancy HiveMind has recruited its first-ever Marketing Director with the appointment of Rhian Lindley. A highly experienced marketing and branding professional, Rhian joins the business after spending the past decade in Dubai where she ran her own marketing and communications consultancy.

After graduating with a degree in Journalism, Film and Broadcasting from the University of Wales College Cardiff, Rhian was recruited as a Management Consultant at multinational professional services company Accenture. She later went on to hold senior marketing roles at several leading corporates, including Royal Bank of Scotland, Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank, and Mubadala Investment Company.

Working with leading corporates, including Smurfit Kappa, BUPA and Bank of America, HiveMind brings together the very best independent and entrepreneurial specialists in the fields of business, technology and design to support clients by delivering change that matters. Rhian’s appointment is designed to support the consultancy’s ambitious growth strategy with plans to increase its network from 2,000 to 50,000 leading industry experts over the next five years.
