Product Talent Consultancy Knowit Becomes Few & Far, and Announces New Client Services to Scale and Retain Teams

Few & Far, a Talent Consultancy formerly called Knowit, has today unveiled its new look and a host of new services to help businesses attract and sustain the best talent. Since launching six years ago the company has helped businesses around the world to hire the people and skills needed to grow, including Starling Bank, Babylon Health, Typeform, Agoda, Tesco PLC and World Remit.

Few & Far finds companies at the forefront of technology, transforming digital, or early-stage startups, the people needed to design, scale, and build products and services globally. It was created by Samm Green and Nick Charalambous due to a shared frustration with the traditional recruitment industry and model, and a vision to build a people-first agency specialising in the teams of tomorrow.

Samm Green, Co-Founder and Director, commented:

Our new brand Few & Far is a reflection of our company to date and a clear promise for the future. We are the business and the people who will go that extra mile to find that key hire that will make a big impact within your team. Knowit served us well, and we’re taking the knowledge from working with over 400 companies to offer a wider range of services, that make us different to other recruitment agencies or subscription providers. Our new look matches the ambition of the businesses we partner with and the community we’ve become a part of over many years.”

The company now offers a selection of services that cater for early-stage up to fast-growth businesses, and large companies looking to transform and appeal to new talent.

Attract:

Few & Far works closely with a range of different companies to benchmark their current appeal using a Talent attraction Score. A bespoke talent strategy will then enable businesses to significantly improve that score and stand out from the competition. The service can also be used by larger companies who are struggling to get the cut-through they need in a competitive market for technical talent.

Build:

A member of the Few & Far team takes the role of in-house recruiter to deliver an effective product development team. A project manager will take the lead internally to help implement a talent strategy and manage the hiring process. The wider Few & Far team will delve into its existing network and community to fill the positions.

Sustain:

Few & Far listens to the needs of a fast-growth business to anticipate what it should do for a continued hiring strategy over the coming months, and as it continues to expand rapidly. The team will then offer consultancy services on everything from hiring and training an internal permanent recruiter, to considering how company culture can be brought to life and aid inbound leads for roles.

Nick Charalambous, Co-Founder and Product Lead, added:

We’re in the business of not only ensuring our clients hire great talent, but longer-term we want to help them retain talent as well. Our immediate focus is to help companies develop their employer brand, candidate experiences and helping them build processes internally. Whilst we’re doing this, our recruitment experts will do the hiring. We’ll also help the client hire our replacement and work with them to get them up to speed. We want to make them self-sufficient.”

Zara Belmar, Senior Recruitment Business Partner for Ocado, said:

“I have been working with Few & Far for over a year now and you would think they had been partnering with us since the company started as they know our culture and tech stack like the back of their hand. This is a testament to the dedication and time they invest in getting under the skin of our company. I know when I receive candidates from Few & Far, the probability of them getting converted is exceptionally high, which in turn means our time to hire is reduced. Few & Far are a knowledgeable business who are exceptionally pleasant to deal with, they wait patiently for roles to come to them and when they do they are on it like a hawk. Thank you Few & Far, for making my recruitment life easier.
