Pigment launches EMEA Partner Program to boost UK partner-led expansion

Integrated business planning and forecasting platform Pigment is set to launch a partner programme in EMEA.

The company seeks to establish a global presence and invites new partners to build on its robust EPM and contribute to the integrated business planning ecosystem.

To meet the increased demand for both robust and flexible planning and forecasting solutions, Pigment’s customer satisfaction goal is met through strict adherence to high-quality standards and the company’s EMEA Partner Program seeks to prioritise quality over quantity for any new partners being welcomed into the fold.

New partners must ensure that customers benefit from successful deployments, innovation, subject matter expertise, a plethora of use cases, and, ultimately, a competitive advantage.

Following a recent Series B extension funding of $65m (£53.3m) to expand into the US enterprise market, Pigment is now seeking partners across the UK to support its work with fast-growth companies across EMEA.

Pigment’s Co-Founder and Co-CEO Eléonore Crespo commented: “In today’s environment, companies are seeking integrated business planning and forecasting solutions to help them navigate these uncertain times.

“Pigment offers flexibility and decision-making support thanks to a modern yet powerful planning platform. We’re already addressing the accelerated demand for Pigment with the best planning and digital transformation consulting firms in our ecosystem.

“Following the launch of our online Academy and Community, the partner program will augment the solutions we provide to our customers. We look forward to supporting even more companies as they build their entire planning lifecycle on Pigment, with our partners.”

The EMEA Partner Program initiative is open now and includes an active online community of Pigment platform users, the newly launched Pigment Academy to grow expertise on the platform and dedicated Solution Architects to work closely with Partners on deployment.

We are looking forward to partnering with Amdaris to help achieve this at a greater scale,” commented Greg Lawson, Group Commercial Director of Sun Strategy.

Netacea Announces Partnership Agreement With AVANT

AVANT offers Trusted Advisors a more comprehensive security offering with Netacea’s industry-leading enterprise bot detection and mitigation solution

MANCHESTER, UK & NEW YORK – June 22, 2022— Netacea, the bot detection and mitigation specialist, today announced a new partnership agreement with AVANT, a platform for IT decision-making and investment. Netacea’s award-winning bot management solution will bolster AVANT’s security offerings and provide its network of Trusted Advisors with a more comprehensive approach to combating growing and evolving security threats. As an AVANT supplier, Netacea will also join the company’s Security Council and offer Trusted Advisors with advice and counsel on the growing threat bots pose to businesses worldwide.

According to Netacea’s new report, The Bot Management Review 2022, there is growing awareness and investment in bot mitigation but there are still many misconceptions around the origin, intent, and complexity of bot attacks. For example, more than 50% of respondents still believe bot attacks only originate in Russia and China. More importantly, one key survey finding reveals that businesses are taking longer to react to bot attacks. In 2022, the average time to react to an attack is approximately 16 weeks as compared with between 12 and 14 weeks in Netacea’s 2021 report, The Bot Management Review: What are bots costing your business?

According to Shane McNamara EVP of Operations & Engineering at AVANT, the company chose Netacea as its first bot management supplier over similar solutions for its innovative use of threat intelligence and machine learning.

“Netacea is an ideal supplier for AVANT,” said McNamara. “As the cybersecurity landscape continually evolves, we are committed to addressing the threats global enterprises face and provide Trusted Advisors with the very best and most comprehensive forward-looking security tools. This is why joining forces with Netacea, which has the technology and know-how to fight 21st century threats, makes perfect sense. With Netacea, Trusted Advisors can protect their websites, mobile apps and APIs from automated threats using its bot management Intent Analytics™ engine, decreasing the potential of falling victim to bad actors and their illegal schemes.”

In April, Netacea announced that Forrester identified the company as a Strong Performer in its 2022 evaluation of the bot management market in The Forrester Wave™: Bot Management, Q2 2022 report, receiving the highest possible scores for Threat Detection and Bot Detection capabilities.

Kirk Horton, Vice President of Channels and Partners, who leads Netacea’s NetElite™ Partner Program, which launched in North America in January 2022, said that partners like AVANT are an important part of the company’s global growth strategy.

“In my more than 20 years of experience in building IT channel programs, one important component to a successful partnership has always been the alignment on goals and a shared vision – which is exactly why we’re certain AVANT is a great fit for Netacea,” said Horton. “We’re excited to work with AVANT to deliver Trusted Advisors with industry-leading bot management technology, and provide a comprehensive, 360-degree view of the threats global businesses face daily. We’re confident that through this new partnership, Trusted Advisors will be able to develop and offer a more effective approach to fighting the growing security threats posed by bots.”

Netacea’s revolutionary agentless approach to bot management combines web log analysis with real-time and historic trends to analyse user behaviour and determine intent. The technology is uniquely equipped to detect sophisticated threats, combining extensive signal collection with deep analysis and dashboards that address both security and business context in the enterprise environment.

Westcon-Comstor launches own flexible payment solutions to drive partner success

Flexible options, funded directly by the specialist distributor, will help partners easily transition to the subscription economy and make tech more accessible and affordable

LONDON, UK – 17th May 2022 – Westcon-Comstor, global technology provider and specialist distributor, has today announced the launch of Flex (Flexible Payment Solutions), an innovative payment service which provides flexible funding for the IT channel.

Over the last decade, the technology industry has undergone a shift from traditional resale models to subscription-based offerings. This shift has allowed digital transformation programmes to become more agile and iterative by providing easier access to the latest technology while reducing pressures on capital.

Up until now, vendors and partners have struggled to offer the subscription services customers have come to expect due to the pressures placed on their own working capital and cashflow. Flex alleviates these concerns by providing an industry-leading range of flexible payment solutions, contracted, and invoiced directly by Westcon-Comstor, without having to go through third party billing agents or brokers. This allows partners and vendors to offer more solutions in their portfolio on a subscription basis, regardless of their billing capabilities or customer budget restrictions.

Forming a central part of Westcon-Comstor’s broader Partner Success approach, Flex is designed to enable long-term, sustainable success, profitability, and relevance in the growing as-a-service world.

An early success story of the service is Cello, now New Zealand’s fastest growing telco – which adopted Flex during the height of the pandemic to help its clients tackle funding crunches.

“If you’re not in the business of making your partners and customers successful, then you won’t be in business for very long,” said Andrew Allan, Chairman of Cello “Gone are the days of a one-size fits all approach, flexibility is critical to successfully adapting to market changes.

“As New Zealand’s fastest growing telco, we’re in a capital-intensive game and need to work with partners that are prepared to work in the best way that works for us and our clients. With its scale, experience and razor-sharp focus on partner success, nobody does it quite like Westcon-Comstor. During COVID Westcon-Comstor upped the ante and adapted its services to fit our specific needs.”

Callum McGregor, CFO of Westcon-Comstor commented: “The market has an obvious desire for subscription-based consumption models, but to offer this is no mean feat. We’ve designed Flex to best serve both vendors and partners. With Flex, partners unlock greater vendor discounts by increasing the deal size and maximising the value they get for their budget early on.

“Because we don’t use third party billing providers, partners deal with us in the exact same way that they would with any “standard” purchase. Plus, they can match payments in with payments out, so the customer gets exactly what they want, how they want it, without impacting the partner or vendor’s cash flow.

With over 90% of tech companies now embracing consumption business models, according to EY, Flex will help all our channel partners and vendors take full advantage of subscription models and capitalise on the direction that the industry is headed.”
