Wales Business Awards 2025 finalists announced

Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid has today announced the finalists for the Wales Business Awards 2025.

Businesses of all sizes and from all sectors across Wales entered to be in with a chance of winning a prestigious accolade, with 50 companies named as finalists across 12 categories.

Pontyclun-based manufacturer Concrete Canvas Ltd leads the nominations with appearances on the shortlists for four categories: Global Business of the Year, Green Business Award, Manufacturer of the Year and SME Exporter of the Year.

Bridgend’s KYMCO UK Ltd, Caerphilly’s ISCA UK Ltd, Cardiff firms Blake Morgan LLP, Cavefish and GCRS Global, Swansea manufacturer Viscose Closures and south-east Wales-based Safran Seats also feature among the list of finalists.

The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony, hosted by broadcaster Andrea Byrne and sponsored by Bevan Buckland LLP, on 12 June at Holland House Hotel, Cardiff. One finalist will also be awarded ‘Wales Business of the Year’ during the ceremony.

Businesses urged to enter Wales Business Awards as deadline looms

Businesses across Wales are being encouraged by Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid to submit their entries for the highly anticipated Wales Business Awards 2025 as the deadline approaches.

The Wales Business Awards celebrate the best of business in Wales and firms now have just one week to go until the entry deadline (Friday 7 March).

The awards are free to enter for both Chamber members and non-members and entries can be submitted by completing an online application form.

There are 12 revamped categories for businesses to enter this year, including: Apprenticeship Scheme of the Year; Customer Excellence Award; Digital Business Award; Emerging Exporter of the Year; Equity and Inclusion Award; Global Business of the Year; Green Business Award; Innovation Award; Manufacturer of the Year; Outstanding Workplace Culture Award; Professional Services Firm of the Year; and SME Exporter of the Year.

The Chamber will also present ‘Wales Business of the Year’ at the ceremony on 12 June at Mercure Cardiff Holland House, which sees broadcaster Andrea Byrne return as host.

Prestigious awards announce new categories as entries open

Today (24 January), Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid has opened entries for the highly anticipated Wales Business Awards 2025.

The awards, organised by the Chamber, provide businesses across the country with the opportunity to compete for Wales’ most prestigious accolades.

There are 12 revamped categories for businesses to enter this year, with new categories including ‘Apprenticeship Scheme of the Year’, ‘Emerging Exporter of the Year’, ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ and ‘Professional Services Firm of the Year’.

The Chamber will also present the ‘Wales Business of the Year’ award at the ceremony hosted by Andrea Byrne on 12 June at Mercure Cardiff Holland House. Previous winners of the award include BCB International, CellPath Ltd, Concrete Canvas Ltd, Euroclad Group Ltd, Metrology Engineering Services and Penderyn Distillery.

The application process has opened today and will close on 7 March 2025. The awards are open to both Chamber members and non-members across Wales and entries can be submitted by completing an application form.

Wales Business Awards finalists announced

Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid has today (16 April) announced the finalists for the Wales Business Awards 2024.

Hundreds of businesses of all sizes and from all sectors across the country entered to be in with a chance of winning a prestigious accolade and 49 companies have been named as finalists across 11 categories.

Leading the pack with two nominations each are Cardiff firms Genesis Biosciences and Ogi, North Wales’ Adferiad Recovery and Idlewild Animal Sanctuary, Penarth-based business Finalrentals, Swansea manufacturer Waterless Limited and four businesses from south-east Wales: Arian Care, Hexa Finance Limited, Otium Concierge and Peter Jones ILG.

The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on 16 May at the Vale Hotel & Resort, with broadcaster Andrea Byrne returning as host. One finalist will also receive the ‘Wales Business of the Year’ award during the evening.

Final call to enter Wales Business Awards 2024

Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid is encouraging businesses across Wales to submit their entries for the Wales Business Awards 2024, ahead of the forthcoming deadline.

With just a week until the deadline, Thursday 29 February, businesses are now urged to enter to be in with a chance of winning a prestigious accolade.

The Wales Business Awards, organised by the Chamber and sponsored by Jardine Norton, recognise the very best from businesses across Wales.

Chamber members and non-members can submit their entries for free by completing an application form or uploading an audio or video entry.
